LunchBook is an easy-to-use app designed for small restaurants, canteens, and eateries that sell meal subscriptions. It replaces messy paper notebooks and makes daily operations smoother, faster, and more efficient — all while working completely offline.

Why LunchBook Was Created

The Story

LunchBook wasn't born in a boardroom — it started in my local eatery.

I noticed how they managed their meal subscriptions: customers could prepay for 25 meals and pick them up whenever they wanted until the balance ran out. But they tracked everything in an old notebook.

Every time I went to get lunch, they had to flip through pages looking for my name to mark a check and date. Sometimes, they had so many customers that my record was buried in a second or third notebook. When a new employee was working, the whole line of people would wait until they found me.

"I can make something simple that works like their notebook — but faster, cleaner, and smarter."

I built LunchBook for them. For free. To make their day easier, reduce mistakes, and speed up service.

The Inspiration Behind Special Orders

The idea didn't stop there.

My mom worked in two convenience stores that handled special orders for holiday packages and family gatherings — like Christmas dinner specials. They used the same paper notebook system: write down meals, note quantities and phone numbers, manually call customers, and search through pages of notes.

It was slow, stressful, and chaotic — especially during busy holidays.

That's when I realized: Hundreds of small eateries still use paper, not because they're lazy, but because POS systems are too expensive, too complex, or too technical for small teams.

So I built LunchBook to be as simple as their notebook — but smarter. No unnecessary features. No complicated setup. Just a clean, fast, offline-first app that anyone can use.
